Law of Inheritance

The Firm deals with any problem arising from testamentary or hereditary succession (the last one being referred to the part of an estate which, under Italian law, must be given to certain relatives by the person making the will). Advice and assistance about making a will is given before death and, successively, for those who inherit or are disinherited.

The Law Firm will perform all the necessary actions to file the ‘Declaration of Succession’ to the competent Office and will provide the client with the calculation of taxes due to the Government.

Furthermore, the Law Firm offers information about problems related to the calculation of the share of inheritance, the rights of the legal heirs, the division of the co-ownership by the heirs, the restoration of gifts and legacies and the representation. Assistance will also be given to clients in case of hereditary petition and/or reduction of testamentary provisions and in any other difficulties related to succession, bequests and donations.

The Law Firm also deals with accepting bequests by bodies, minors or people considered legally incompetent, applying to the Tutelary Judge and to the Court for the necessary authorization
